My pup (10 yr old terrier mix) will only drink water from puddles outside. I’ve been adding healthy mouth to her food for at least 3 years now, her teeth are doing great. She loves Healthymouth.
This product works for my all my animals dental hygiene. Even my dog’s really bad breath is gone. I appreciate that this product dissolves with no mixing needed. There is no residue left in the bowl to clean out. Delivery has been fast, with good packaging and communication.
This was recommended to me by my friend who is a vet and uses it for her own dogs. My dog is still quite young and has never had bad breath so I cant speak to the effectiveness there, but he seems to enjoy the flavor of his water and his teeth appear very clean to me. I will continue to use this product.
My dog, Angus, has had no dental issues since using HealthyMouth. He actually seems to enjoy the taste, it was originally recommended to me by my veterinarian, and I now heartily recommend it as well!
Great product! My dog has no problem with the flavor - happily takes it with food or water. It seems to really help prevent gross build up on her molars, as well, so that's a huge win.
Our dogs teeth are so clean and his breath is fresh! Amazing product! I dribble it on the food run and put it in the water because he's such a large dog. I don't want to waste it.
Healthy Mouth has worked for both of my dogs. I use the water additive and it has enabled us to avoid any expensive and unpleasant dental cleanings for their entire lives. It also keeps their breath fresh. There is no other product like it!
We have. been using Healthy Mouth for several years and it has made a great difference in Teddy's dental health.
Great product and great order experience.
We were devastated when we learned that the HealthyMouth headquarters burned in the Pasadena fires, but were SO EXCITED when they began shipping product again. We have used HealthyMouth for our dogs and cat for years and years. We love it. It cuts down on the frequency of dental cleanings required for our dogs which are super expensive, and we're not fans of having to anaesthetize our old lady dog for cleanings, as that comes with risk. HealthyMouth gives us the peace of mind that our animals' tartar build-up is being controlled.
I love the natural ingredients in Healthy Mouth. I mix about 1/4 tsp. into my dog’s water at refill times. His teeth are whiter and breath is fresher since using it.
While not an immediate cure, I do believe this product has helped us avoid a deep dental cleaning on my 10 year old pup. It is expensive though and I understand that might be an obstacle to purchase for some folks.
My boxer pup has gingival hyperplasia. On the recommendation of his vet, I ordered Healthy Mouth. While not a cure, Healthy Mouth helps prevent his condition from worsening, and infecting his gums. It’s easy to use, and my boxer likes it.
My dog seems to really like the taste of the water with the enzymes, and when I brush her teeth, I notice that the ones all the way in the back seem to have less tartar on them.
Healthy mouth is working okay for my dogs. I only put it in their food, once a day, since when I tried it in their drinking water, one of my dogs got upset tummy and stopped eating. The water was also diluted with half of the recommended amount of healthy mouth.
So I don't know if the liquid is working to its full potential since my dogs seem to not be able to tolerate the full dosages. They still have bad breath and I have to brush their teeth. But I would like to continue using the healthy mouth.
We have an 8-year-old and a 4-year-old Pekinese. We have been using this product since they were puppies. We were so happy to find out it was available again, so we recently placed an order. However, the product I received was not sealed like it used to be. Since it is something my dogs drink, I contacted customer service to inquire about it. They replied quickly and sent a replacement, which arrived shortly after. We are very happy with not only the product but also the service they provided us.
I have 3 dogs. 2 have had Healthy Mouth several years ago, no problem right from the start. The new dog will NOT touch water with it in it. I have started with just a 1/4 of your measuring spoon in 2 gals of water and she still will not drink the water. So at this point in time I cannot give a fair review. The other two dogs have never had a problem with it and I am trying to try only a few drops in 2 gallons and maybe increasing it VERY slowly until she will drink the treated water. But until then, it wouldn't be fair to you to leave a review.
First of all, I am so glad that you have been able to recover from that devastating fire. I was worried that I would have to switch to a competitor’s product. I have been using your product for several years and rely on it 1000%. My furry companion enjoys it, has clean (and white) teeth and has the vet impressed with the results. Thank you!
Although it is too soon to tell about lasting effects the dog doesn't mind the additive and we are hopeful it will assist with her dental/mouth hygiene.
I think this is just a small part of taking care of dogs' teeth but not the whole picture. If anyone believes this all you have to do for their teeth they are sadly mistaken. Brushing is of prime importance
My dog will not drink her water when I put this in water. I followed the suggestion to put it on her food and she avoids that part of her food if she can. Not sure if it is working because it hasn't been long enough to tell
I can't know for sure that Healthymouth helps with tarter, but the VOHC lists it as an accepted water additive which hopefully means they have done testing. My veterinary dentist recommends it. I will do anything for my dogs. The owner of Healthymouth is reputable and has gone through a lot of problems with the fire. I wish her the best and will continue ordering the water additive.
I used to put it in their water but I use a filtered bubbler waterer so it clogs the filters so I now just put it on their dry kibble dog food. I know that both my dogs have healthy teeth, their veterinarian tells me that when they have their physicals.
She (dog) had terrible breath and then had a bunch of teeth taken out, so I figured I would try this, she has been using it for a year now and no more issues with her teeth!!❤️❤️
